Feb 4, AM. I also am having trouble with the Outbox not being present on the list of folders. I tried holding down the shift key while re-opening outlook on my mac and it did not work for me.

I tried radda77 several times, but found that what worked for me was to open up the progress box, select the item that was causing the "stuck" problem and stopped the synch on it - at that point an outbox popped up at the bottom of the folders and I could go in and copy the email body, and delete the attachments and email itself, Hey presto, problem solved.
