I had to use the All Trails map constantly to make sure I wasn't intersecting another trail. Use Navigator in the AllTrails app and join the other outdoor explorers who have completed this trail. October 3, Extremely easy hike. September 28, Very technical trail, but roots are everywhere. Use a 29er. Michelle Brown. June 12, Beautiful trail, felt like a jungle. George Hardtner. May 18, Laura Potts. I saw more deer on the trail than people. Nice walk. The trails are in good condition, save for the bridge out. The only downside is that frequently the trail is close to one of the bordering streets, resulting in a fair amount of traffic noise.

This trail is 4 star for me, it had its ups and downs. Cons: muddy, unclear signs for trails especially the white trail , one or two areas where the trail is completely underwater and I had to cross on tree branches or logs, some of the hike has quite a bit of trash. Pros: very engaging trail, lots of different paths, winding and bending paths, a good moderate hike, deer all over.

It was mostly mild with a few moderate places. Thank goodness for the All Trails app which got us back on track. Nice way to spend a day. Great workout of trails in a tight space. Curvy and some hills made a nice combo. And three tracks you can do any distance from 1. Little muddy but a great trail to start off with.

Some steep areas and almost got lost at one spot but if you record your hike you and follow the signs you are good! Trail was great. I went on a day it rained most of the trail but I did do all the loops!!!!! I was the only one out, it was amazing. I will say, as others have said, parts of the trails back section of white the markers are far and fairly worn out.

A few confusing area where the trail splits and white goes in both ways - including having markers going on both paths. Definitely more suited for bikers, as trails are narrow. I saw a lot of poison ivy on the trails right on the edges of the paths. I kept my hands in my pockets most of the time to avoid brushing against any ivy.

Not sure about the mileage either. This says 9 miles and 4 hrs to do it, which seems off I started my tracker at the parking lot and got Overall great bunch of trails did take a muddy spill on one area but again it was downpouring Calm and quiet!!! Great Sunday morning walk. Lots of variety. More challenging than Wolf River or Tour de Wolf. Markers are better than they used to be but still a bit confusing in some areas.

Overall well kept though. It was like Alice in Wonderland Super fun for trail running. There are spots after a little rain that will puddle or stay a little muddy not to bad though. Will come again. I highly enjoyed myself looking for markers and using the map to find my way out lmfao! The trail was short and quick for me. A great trail for mountain biking!! I go there quite often.

If you have decent cardio you can fly through that section. If you're a mountain biker, I'd say it's worth about an hour drive. If you're a day hiker then I'd probably pass unless you live in the city. Pretty neat trail for the area. Just a nice long walk through the woods, nothing too crazy.

Love this set of trails. Stanky creek is the new home trail for the fortitude trail race taking place sept. Love coming out here and see how great the course is marked and makes measuring the course out so much easier. Great for all skill levels. Great for what it is: land repurposed for outdoor activities. Though it washes out pretty badly and trees tend to drop a lot, the trails are pretty technical.
