Which disney park is best
The new flagship store is also supposed to be opening this summer though we don't know exactly when , and that would relieve some of the construction in the front of the park. However, you also can't go wrong with either Animal Kingdom or Busch Gardens. If you and your friend especially like thrill rides we love all of the roller coasters there! If not, Animal Kingdom has a good variety of rides, plus animal exhibits and entertainment The Festival of the Lion King just returned!
But do love visually beautiful rides. Which parks would you recommend, on not recommend for us? Thanks for any tips. Disney's rides tend to be the tamest, and Universal's a little more thrilling; if you are big Harry Potter fans, it may be worth doing a one-day park-to-park ticket to be able to ride the Hogwarts Express and see both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.
Have a great time! I am trying to plan a trip to Orlando in June 3 to 7, Im taking three grandsons ages 5,6,7 which parks would you advise for 2 days? As for the second park, we feel it depends on your grandsons' interests! If you have enough time and they enjoy LEGO, then consider making a trip out to Legoland Florida, which is toadally awesome for that age group. Hope this helps with narrowing it down a little!
Hi my grandson is 2yrs old going on 5 if you know what I mean Will there be much to do for a 15 year old as well as adults that will pretty much sight see. If rides are your biggest priority, Magic Kingdom will have more rides that he can go on, due to height restrictions Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin would be a must-do! Hollywood Studios also has thrilling rides for the year-old, such as Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and plenty of sights to see for the adults Star Wars : Galaxy's Edge alone is a big area to explore!
Hope this helps! Planning after Christmas trip to Orlanda, FL. Family of 5 and wanting to do 2 or 3 days at the Parks. Disney and Universal but not sure which Parks within to do for our kids ages. This will be surpise for them so I want to make sure we make a good choice!
All boys, ages 12, 9, and 4. What would your recommend for our trip? Do we park hop? Do we include everyone on every park or not? We already have lodging set and a ride to and from the Parks via grandparents who will also be willing to keep little one back if we wanted to just go with the older kids for a day.
While you really can't make any bad choices, our initial reaction is that they'd enjoy either of the Universal parks or Disney's Hollywood Studios. It depends on their interests too - if they like animals, consider Disney's Animal Kingdom as well. The Universal parks would be easier to park hop since they're right next to each other and likewise, it's easier to park hop between Disney parks.
However, we wouldn't recommend park hopping between Disney and Universal in a day though, as that may take too much time. All of the parks have something for every age, so you don't need to leave anyone out!
Consider using rider switch in case the little one doesn't want to ride something. Will be having a 5 day trip in early June. Which park would you recommend for all of these age groups? Magic Kingdom has the most to do for little ones, followed by Animal Kingdom. There are attractions at both parks, as well as activities, that suit several age groups : Have a great time!
Hi, my name is Breanna. My family and I have never been to Walt Disney's World. We would like to go towards the end of the month. My husband has trouble walking because he has a bad back. I was wondering if you had a way to help him get around better. Also I have 4 children years old to small for rides and my oldest would not go on a ride without me.
We all love star wars and marvel. We are big Disney movie fans. Do you have strollers. Do you have double strollers. We are Florida residents and we see plenty of sea life already. My children are big fans of Pixar so anything related.
Big fans of legos. We would like pictures that are done sent to us at the end of are trip so we don't have to take the photos are selves. Need a cheap resort with pool and complimentary breakfast.
What are good dining experiences for children? For a family not so fast paste how many days long do you recommend to really take it all in. Thank you. How exciting! Most of the Orlando theme parks offer stroller, wheelchair and ECV rentals — so there's options for both the kiddos and your husband! Do note that these are first come, first served, so it may be worth looking into some off-site rental companies if you think you'd benefit from having the stroller, wheelchair or ECV with you, including at the hotel.
All parks also offer disability services that can provide alternative ways to wait in queues for those who may have issues standing in a traditional queue. No matter where you visit, we recommend dropping by Guest Relations to see if what options are available to you. Since your kiddos aren't quite old enough to ride alone, make sure to look into Child Swap options! There are a few rides that can seat three in a row, so between you and your husband, you'd be able to all get on and ride at the same time : If you can swing it, we'd recommend at least 5 days at Disney - one for each park, and one day to hang at the resort.
If you're doing more than just Disney which it sounds like is the plan! Hope this helps - have a great trip! I have a 8 year old daughter and 14 year old son.
What parks work best for these ages so far apart? We find that Disney's Hollywood Studios has a good balance of rides for those age groups - we feel the same way about Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, too! I am trying to take trip in early June for days.
Want to cover parks. My son is 11 and daughter is 8. Universal studio for sure. What else is good for those 2 age group. Thanks in advance. Universal Studios Florida is a great option for your children's age groups! If either of them are Harry Potter fans, we'd recommend hopping to Universal's Islands of Adventure too.
Overall though, it really comes down to their interests! Any Star Wars fans? Disney's Hollywood Studios would be a must-do. If you want a nostalgic Disney experience, Magic Kingdom has all of the classic attractions to ride and Disney characters to meet.
Let us know if you need any more help narrowing it down. I am hopin to take a 4 day trip to Orlando in March. I have twin 5, almost 6 year olds. I was looking to do two parks. Which do you recommend? I definitly want Magic Kingdom but am torn on the other. My biggest concern is the wait. How do they feel about animals? Animal Kingdom is a great pick around that age group, and there are a fair amount of animal experiences that don't have traditional lines. Since they are walk-through experiences, it also helps to get some of the wiggles out : That said, there are still a fair amount of rides available for them to enjoy!
As far as the Disney Parks go, Animal Kingdom is generally the most manageable in terms of wait times too. The oldest is into marvel, lego, video games, typical 10 yr old. The younger is 3 and into Mickey Mouse, sharks, dinosaurs, trucks, incredibles.
Also brining 3 other adults so we want everyone to be able to enjoy the day. Having a hard time figuring our what will be good for the 3yr old but still interest the 10 yr old. Disney's Hollywood Studios would be a great pick for the both of them! While Marvel doesn't have a strong presence in that particular park, Star Wars and Toy Story should have enough to keep your older nephew's attention, while still offering lots for the younger : In the character cavalcades, your younger nephew would get to see Mickey and the Incredibles!
There's a good mix of attractions for all ages - including some thrills! Hi, I'm torn between Disney and universal studios. Any advice? If you have Marvel and Frozen fans, we'd shoot for Disney! We'll let others in the Frog Pond weigh in, as well, but let us know if you have any other questions : Have a great time! It really comes down to what your daughter's interests are!
If she loves princesses and classic Disney characters, Magic Kingdom is a must-do. Is she a Harry Potter fan? Either or both of the Universal Orlando parks would provide an immersive experience at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. If she's ready to tackle a few thrill rides or is a fan of Star Wars or Toy Story , Disney's Hollywood Studios is a good place to start.
We know it's a hard choice, so let us know if you need any more help to narrow it down! But if possible, you should change Elementary school age to the actual age group. You have so many international followers but us of us do not refer to Elementary school, and so not certain without looking it up what exact ages that refers to.
This is a great suggestion, Renata - thank you! We've adjusted our post accordingly so that the ages are clearer :. Hi we are going to Disney world Orlando in February it will be myself wife and three kids which are 16,9 and 2 and there grandad.
We have the 14 day Disney park pass but due to Covid they say we need to book the parks that we want to go to each day in advance as you may not get in on the day. So could you help with which parks are the best to visit and which ones will need more that one visit please. How fun! In our opinion, each of the parks have something special to offer for all age groups and are worth visiting more than once.
The kids have never been to Orlando. What would you recommend? We will be staying at The Four Seasons. We just spent day two of 3 days at Disney. We thought with the current travel scare, it being a week day and school still in session, it would be a light week.
Boy how wrong we were. We also didn't know you needed to get your Fast Pass tickets in advace All the lines were 60 to minutes EACH. Day 1 was Epcot. Sorin was an hour wait and was just ok. The food was awesome at every location. Day 2 was Animal Kingdom and Aviatar was a 2 hour wait and the two water rides were over 90 minutes.
That's all we had time for. And the dinner at their premier restaurant Tiffins was below average at best. Tomorrow we are suppose to go to Hollywood Studios but We may just skip it. The lines are way too long and people that wait to plan their vacation can't get fast track passes. We would have been better off getting season tickets to Universal with a daily fast track ticket What are they interested in? We think Universal would be a great pick, and from there, we'd opt for one of the Disney Parks depending on their interests.
Disney's Animal Kingdom blends animals similar to a zoo with some thrill rides, including the world of Pandora. If they are looking for more of the classic Disney experience, Magic Kingdom is always a good pick. Hope this helps - have a wonderful trip! I am planning a trip to Disney World in July I will have 6 adults and 4 children.
The children are ages 4, 3, 2, girls , and one2 year old little boy. Please recommend rides and shows for them. Also places to eat in the park. Thank you! We are looking to go to Disney in Jan of Please help..
Any discounts you know of would be great too. We are looking to stay for 4 days. Thank you in advance. We'll let the Frog Pond weigh in on houses! But as far as parks to visit, it'll really depend on the group's interests! We offer discounted tickets to all of these parks, which you can find here. Have a great trip!
Saw recommended places for teens and adults. Also how many days needed and if we have any discounts or ok to stay at Disney resort itself?. Akso if we can purchase tickets online after coming there?
We plan like during last week of Dec All of the Disney Parks have some non-coaster rides available, but we'd definitely suggest Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, since they'll have the most to choose from. We'd allot one day each to each park. Universal is a good pick, as well, if you have Harry Potter fans!
We'd recommend a 2 day park-to-park ticket there. Staying on-site at Disney is toadally feasible and offers great perks! Since it's farther away from Universal, you'd just need to plan to either rent a car or hop in an Uber for those days or switch resorts!
You can check out all of our available deals here. We will be visiting Orlando in March 10th to the 17th. We want to have a list of parks that would be perfect for us during our trip. Also, What package to buy at each park. My wife for sure wants to go the the Harry Porter Theme park. So with that in mind,Please advise. We'd definitely suggest at least a 2-day park-to-park ticket for Universal Orlando Resort so that you can ride the Hogwarts Express between parks for your Harry Potter-lovers : Other than that, any of the Disney Parks are great for that age group - if they are Star Wars fans, Disney's Hollywood Studios would be a good stop to visit Galaxy's Edge.
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are also great picks for tadpoles : Have a great time! We are taking our first family trip to Disney in February with our 10yr old daughter and 12yr old son and are planning days at the parks. Magic Kingdom is a must one day just for nostalgia but not sure about the rest?
They aren't super into characters, they enjoy big rollercoasters, harry potter, star wars; etc. Any direction you can provide would be appreciated!!! If they are into Harry Potter, we'd suggest 2 days for Universal Orlando Resort preferably park-to-park so you can take the Hogwarts Express!
They'll also have larger coasters for the kiddos to enjoy. Have a wonderful time! How many parks are you hoping to visit? We'd suggest Universal Orlando if they are big Harry Potter fans! Disney Hollywood Studios especially Toy Story Land would be fantastic, with Magic Kingdom offering the most amount of attractions that would be suitable for all of your tadpoles' ages.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is another great one for animal-lovers! Hope you have a wonderful trip! My adult children are 22 and What parks do you reccommend for us? Both Universal parks are great. And of course, Disney is also a great pick! Since it'll be busy during that time, we'd suggest hopping to Epcot for the Festival of the Holidays or Galaxy's Edge if you have Star Wars fans.
Almost same ages as previous poster 9,12 but major Harry Potter fans. They are more interested in the story than rides. No thrill or speed for me thank you ;- First visit to Orlando in February we have seen the London Studios. Many thanks! We'd definitely recommend a park-to-park ticket so that the tadpoles can take the Hogwarts Express between the parks!
Two days would be a good amount if you aren't partaking in all of the thrills ; There will be plenty of Harry Potter-related fun without needing to ride the coasters! Me with my university friends aged are planning to visit Orlando in December during Christmas for 3 days. Which parks would be the best to visit for us? This is a tough one; if you are Harry Potter fans, we'd definitely suggest heading to Universal Orlando.
We'd suggest a park-to-park ticket if possible and if not, Islands of Adventure. From there, we'd recommend Hollywood Studios if you're Star Wars Fans to visit Galaxy's Edge , and either Magic Kingdom for the classic experience, plus a fully decorated park - just keep an eye out for early closures for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!
Crowds will be high for Christmas, so we highly suggest planning ahead for your FastPass reservations, and springing for Express Passes at Universal if you can. My wife and would like to do Epcot and Universal Studios in 2 days in mid-November. You'd also then have access to free transportation during your stay, with the exception being your trip over to Universal.
Surfside Inn and Suites over at Universal is also a value resort that fits within your budget, and is the resort's newest property! Some options between the two parks would include Disney Springs hotels. You can also search for hotels on our site using the map function on our site and sort by price if none of these fit the bill! We're sure others in the Frog Pond will have some suggestions, as well : Have a great trip!
Thank you for a great article! Our family mom, dad, 5 kids ages 1, 4, 5, 12, 17 plus the in-laws are all going to spend a few days in Orlando and we've decided on Magic Kingdom, but are wondering where our next day should be spent.
With such an array of ages and interests, it's hard to decide on the next best one! I'd appreciate any input! Islands of Adventure would be our second pick for you - there's something for every member of your family, from kiddie play areas and Dr. Seuss themed attractions for the littlest tadpole, to bigger coasters for the older kiddos, and Harry Potter for everyone. My husband and I are celebrating our first year anniversary.
I know that there a 4 theme parks but we only have a 3 day park pass. What parks would you recommend we take advantage of? We like to enjoy roller coasters. If you're thinking strictly of Disney Parks, we'd recommend hitting Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot foregoing Epcot since there are no rollercoasters available at this time.
If you're open to other parks, we'd highly recommend trying out Universal, as well. Hoppy anniversary! Try Scootaround mobility scooter rentals I am going in Oct also and have rented from them and I believe they're pretty reasonable for the week or you can just rent for a few days. They will deliver to your hotel if in their area. Hope this helps I am 58 and can no longer walk very far or long. If you are on a Disney property you can ride right on the buses and they also are portable units you can take apart to put in cars if you're driving.
Some other hotels we were looking at that say they have a free shuttle to the parks may not be accessible to ride on and you would have to take the scooter apart to get on it.
Hope this helps. We highly recommend an ECV rental! We've done it with Grandma Frog, who is in a similar situation - long lines and walking long distances just aren't feasible for her. Every park offers some sort of ECV rental, and you can then park at any rides you'd like to hop on. It also gives you a seating option anywhere you go for parades, fireworks, etc.
This worked like a dream for Grandma Frog! The only downside is that you may pick up some tadpole hitchhikers ;. Children exhilarate in those moments of glory when standing on their tippy-toes allows them to ride something new. Well, the attractions at this park work similarly. Many people in this age group will fall out of love with Disney for a while.
After all, Disney visits are awesome. This answer at least partially depends on whether you have children. If you do, refer to the age groups listed previously. Never forget that! Plus, after the fireworks end, crowds thin out, providing you with ample opportunities to ride your favorites without waiting in huge lines. The pavilions at the World Showcase will stir your creativity.
Plus, when you need a break, the ample shows at the back of the park provide an excuse to sit down. I was more of an adrenaline junkie then. However, I have watched my father do some pretty remarkable things at this age.
What I learned from him is that shows matter so much at this age. Sometimes, you need to get off your feet and out of the glaring sun. For this reason, I think Hollywood Studios makes some sense. The year before my father died, he visited a theme park. He was 79 years old at the time and a year cancer survivor. Dad was tough. It has spectacular rides, amazing food, and plenty of exotic experiences.
But what really distinguishes Animal Kingdom from other theme parks is its theme. Animal Kingdom is devoted to educating people about wildlife and the natural world.
Yes, it still has the adventurous and exciting aspects like the other theme parks, but no other park is quite like Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom will appeal to anyone who loves animals. There are a few shortcomings. Plus, it could use some more rides, especially a family-friendly dark ride. Despite its wonderful movie and TV-based attractions, thematic elements, and its retro s feel, Hollywood Studios still has a ways to go. Future World celebrates science, technology, and innovation.
World Showcase, on the other hand, celebrates the international culture and cuisine of the global community. Each county pavilion showcases its native cuisine and souvenir shops. The wonderful food is really the star of the show here, and it can be really fun to meet Cast Members from the actual countries that are represented in World Showcase.
On the downside, if your family seeks thrill rides, then you may find this park a little boring. Do you need help planning and booking your next Disney World vacation? Look no further than The Vacationeer.
